CNC (Computer Numerical Control) process is a highly automated and precise manufacturing method.

 

 

The workpiece is securely clamped onto the CNC machine's worktable. The machine, which could be a CNC milling machine, lathe, router, or other types, uses cutting tools such as end mills, drills, or turning tools. These tools are precisely controlled by the computer to move in multiple axes (usually X, Y, and Z axes, and sometimes additional rotational axes) to remove material from the workpiece according to the programmed instructions.

 


During the CNC process, the machine can maintain extremely high levels of accuracy and repeatability. It can perform complex machining operations like contouring, drilling holes at specific angles and locations, creating threads, and machining intricate 3D shapes. The cutting parameters such as spindle speed, feed rate, and depth of cut can be adjusted and optimized to achieve the desired surface finish and machining efficiency.


CNC machining allows for the production of high-quality, customized parts with tight tolerances and complex geometries that would be difficult or impossible to achieve with traditional manual machining methods.
